TPM Modular Approach at GKN Aerospace Western Approach
The TPM programme aim to improve and sustain equipment reliability in the most cost-efficient manner. To do so, GKN Aerospace trained its personnel in the application of TPM within their Manufacturing Operations across a selection of “Pilot” sites. The TPM toolset was used to demonstrate the right behaviours and effectiveness in the process of improving equipment reliability and changing culture.
They developed their people to a level where they could lead future rollout without external support, becoming experts in the practical application of TPM and start deploying the system in other operational areas.
