Indentation Plastometer
The Indentation Plastometer and CORSICA software package from Plastometrex uses a novel inverse finite element method to measure accurate stress-strain curves from a 3-minute indentation test. The technology reduces the times and costs associated with metal strength testing by over 90% whilst offering unparalleled testing versatility.
All of the most common engineering metals (and their alloys) can be tested by the Indentation Plastometer. Developed by a team of scientists formerly of The University of Cambridge, the technology is being used globally to support new product development, quality assurance, and failure analysis.
